ADMISSION POLICY

» JEXPO’2021 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS

a)Citizenship Must be an Indian Citizen.

b)Qualification 

Must have passed the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Mathematics and Physical Science / Science / Science & Technology among others as subjects securing at least 35% marks (no rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional/optional. Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in 2021 with English, Mathematics and Physical Science/Science among others as subjects may also apply. However, conforming to the benchmark of 35% marks (no rounding up as per AICTE norms) in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional/optional, is a must, failing which candidature is liable to be cancelled even after selection in JEXPO-2021.

c)Age 

Should not be born after 01.07.2006 and there is no upper age limit.

» VOCLET’2021 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS

a) Citizenship

 Must be an Indian Citizen.

 b) Qualification 

Must have passed / appeared* the (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) [erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training].

 OR

 Passed 2 years’ ITI at a stretch after Madhyamik or equivalent examination passed. Appeared ITI candidates are not eligible for VOCLET-2021. ITI trades must be of continuous 2 years duration and the single certificate should mention the duration of the ITI course. 

OR

 Passed / appeared* 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology subject from recognized Board / Council / Institute.

 OR 

Passed / appeared* 10+2 (Science) with Mathematics as one of the subject from recognized Board / Council / Institute. 

OR

 Passed / appeared* 10+2 (Science) with Technical Vocational Subjects from recognized Board / Council / Institute (including CSS for VHSE).
